This program offers four dynamic 75-minute sessions, each packed with valuable insights and practical knowledge aimed at empowering you to better serve cancer survivors in your community.

Program Support

The CancerSurvivorship ECHO program is supported through funding from the Mississippi State Department of Health Comprehensive Cancer Control Program. We acknowledge the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, for its support of the Mississippi staff, and the printing and distribution of the monograph under cooperative agreement NU58DP007129 awarded to Mississippi.  Its contents are solely the responsibility of the authors and do not necessarily represent the official views of CDC.

This toolkit is a vital component of our Cancer Survivorship ECHO Program, ensuring you have access to the latest strategies and tools necessary for delivering exceptional support to cancer survivors.

Continuing Education Credits

We understand that continuing education requirements vary by profession. That's why our program is designed to provide credits that are relevant across different healthcare roles:
 

  • For Physicians, PAs and NPs: Participants can earn up to 4 Category 1 Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits. These credits are recognized and valued by medical boards and are crucial for maintaining medical licensure and certification.
     

  • For Nurses: Our program offers up to 4 ANCC (American Nurses Credentialing Center) approved Continuing Education Units (CEUs). These units are essential for nurses seeking to advance their knowledge and fulfill professional development requirements.
     

  • For Community Health Workers (CHWs): Participants will receive up to 4 Continuing Education (CE) hours specifically designed for CHWs. These hours are vital for enhancing your skills and effectiveness in supporting your community.
